Cat and I have been making guitars since the Dark Ages (the bit between Prog and Punk).

The roots of Xperience Guitars date from 1987 and until last year, we were hidden away in our workshop, which it became clear we'd outgrown.

Our new location on Westdale Lane had been a music shop before we took it over. We specialise in stringed instruments mostly guitars and basses, ukes, plus banjos, violins and mandolins.

In addition to our custom builds, repair and setup work, we now sell new guitars, basses, ukes and essential accessories.

We also offer individual lessons and innovative 6-week evening courses which progress your playing really quickly.

In an age where you can buy pretty much anything on the internet, we believe that buying a guitar should be a first-hand experience... and every new guitar benefits from being set up to perfectly suit you, the player. Regardless of what you are planning to spend.
